Port Harcourt’ Open Mic


Port Harcourt Literary Society’ Open Mic gets bigger and better in each edition as it brings poets and entertainers from all walks of life together for the sake of art,


The event which held at the Port Harcourt book centre on friday 23 of march 2018 had Sam Dede a legendary Nollywood actor, director and senior lecturer in the department of theatre and film studies, University of Port Harcourt as its special guest who during the conversation accepted that he is  a member of the pirate confraternity, Efe Paul Azino a lagos based poet and the brand ambassador to heritage bank as the guest poet, in attendance  were Obari Gomba lecturer of creative writing in the department of English, University of Port Harcourt, Amu Nnadi Port Harcourt Residence poet, Uzo Nwamara the President, River State Chapter, Association of Nigerian Authors among others.
